Female Only Boxing

Female Only Boxing at VT1 is a full-body exercise for women that incorporates actual boxing techniques and training methodologies. Our coaching staff is made up of former boxers, and our women’s boxing courses are safe, and enjoyable, whilst providing you with the motivation to continually improve your skills.

Female Only Kickboxing

A full-body exercise that incorporates professional kickboxing skills and training methods. Unlike an ordinary gym, you’ll get all the guidance and motivation you need, from an experienced professional. Every session is different, fast-paced and cardio-intensive, and focuses on all body regions to ensure you meet your health and fitness objectives.

Female Only Jiu Jitsu

Women have several distinct characteristics when it comes to martial arts. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu helps you to access these abilities. Our Female-Only Jiu Jitsu programme is designed to teach the Gentle Art to women in a pleasant, safe, and motivating setting.

Although our mixed programme is open to anyone, many women prefer to practise with other women until they gain confidence. You will learn to control people of a comparable size before advancing to larger opponents.

No, VT1 MMA Academy has dedicated classes to cater for complete beginners all the way up to professional fighters. VT1 is the perfect place to get you started on your martial arts journey.

At VT1 we are a SAFETY-FIRST Academy. Our world-class instructors teach in a controlled environment at an appropriate intensity for the various levels of experience. Sparring is not compulsory. It is very rare for students to attain injuries whilst training.

Yes! The martial arts taught at VT1 MMA Academy are practical and effective. Whether you want to learn martial arts for grappling or striking matches, MMA bouts or street-based self-defence, VT1 offers martial arts with useful and realistic techniques.

VT1 MMA Academy offers different programs to meet your needs. It is recommended to start off in one martial art before taking on others but a personalised meeting with a member of the VT1 staff will help you establish the best training program to help you achieve your goals.

Yes, Liam Resnekov the Head Coach of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a black belt under the Gracie Family and a 2nd Degree. He has been training over 20 years  and there are also 12 authentic Gracie Jiu Jitsu blackbelts coaching and training at the Academy with him.

Yes, our parking can be accessed from Lower Gibbes St. Just follow Lower Gibbes St down into Chatswood Business Park, and continue straight and up the ramp until you enter the big parking lot. Access to the academy is by walking through the walkway and around the front of the building. If you have any problems finding us don’t hesitate to call us on (02) 9417 1001 and we can direct you!

Check the timetable for specific class times but the gym is open from Monday to Saturday and is closed on Sunday. There are morning and lunch time sessions but on weekdays the majority of classes take place between 5-9pm and 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
